Key Responsibilities
- Overall in charge of performance and development of the business development division.
- Leads the activities of the business development team to fulfill annual revenue targets and create opportunities for a long-term sustainable growth.
- Report to CEO of the company on business development activities.
Business Development
Account Management & Sales Operation
- Responsible for contract finalization, contract negotiation, and annual renewals.
- Responsible for retaining all existing customers and expanding share of wallet through the marketing of tailored value propositions.
- Proactively manage and deepen the relationship with existing customers, including addressing customer queries and needs on a timely and effective manner.
- Manage the administration of the sales process.
- Work with internal stakeholders including legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations and internal standards.
Branding & Marketing
- Develop and implement a strategic annual marketing and events plan.
- Effective project management and collaboration across multiple stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and maximum impact of the annual marketing & events plan.
- Manage and liaise with external vendors to ensure flawless execution of marketing and branding campaigns.
- Manage and guide staff in lower levels to run the company’s social media accounts.
Market Intelligence
- Analyzing changes in the legal framework to develop proper adjustments to business development strategy/plan.
- Collect market intelligence to share with the broader relationship management team
- Monitor market developments and trends including coverage information, lead generation, identify targets and cross-selling opportunities
Requirements/Qualifications
- Work with internal stakeholders including legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations and internal standards.
- Minimum of Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, accounting, business, or economics. CFA or CPA is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years experience in the financial service industry in business development, sales, or client relationship role.
- In-depth knowledge of the key characteristics and dynamics of capital and credit markets in Vietnam. Some exposure to credit analysis will be an advantage.
- Articulate and succinct communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English and Vietnamese. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to cultivate strong business relationships or partnerships.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, honesty, independence, thoroughness, responsibility, and accountability.
- Strong attention to detail. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, and excellent time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; well-versed in PowerPoint and able to produce high-quality marketing material.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel under short notice.
