On October 15, 2024, VIS Rating, in collaboration with EY Vietnam and the National Economics University (NEU), successfully organized a seminar on 'Credit Ratings and Updates on Tax and Accounting Policies.'
The event attracted hundreds of students from the Faculties of Banking and Finance, Accounting, and Auditing, providing them with practical knowledge and the latest updates from leading experts.
The seminar focused on the current status and practices of credit ratings in Vietnam and the region, the overview and prospects of the Vietnamese corporate bond market, and significant changes in tax and accounting policies, including the Global Minimum Tax, amendments to the Law on Accounting and Auditing, and draft amendments to the Law on Corporate Income Tax, Value Added Tax, and Decree 123/2020/ND-CP on invoices.
This is part of a series of events organized by VIS Rating to disseminate knowledge and contribute to building a transparent and sustainable financial market in Vietnam.
