Ta Bich Thao

Ms. Ta Thi Bich Thao currently serves as the Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA). She was one of the first organizers of the Vietnam Bond Market Forum (VNBF) and later transformed VNBF into VBMA, a legally recognized entity in Vietnam since 2009, to enhance its legal and financial capacity for addressing operational and policy issues.

Her primary responsibilities include contributing to VBMA's development policies, engaging in strategy dialogues with relevant stakeholders, implementing VBMA policies, promoting VBMA, and ensuring good relations with members and authorities. Additionally, she coordinates the association's governance, including the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, annual meetings and general assemblies.

Under Thao's coordination, VBMA has become a robust industry association in Vietnam. Its functions include promoting high standards for the debt market professional community, acting as a champion and driver of market modernization, serving as a collective market information source, and engaging in policy dialogues with policymakers and regulators.
