Minh is responsible for the business development activities and overall performance of the company. Minh has in-depth knowledge of Vietnam's financial market gained through years of working in the fields of auditing, business consulting, securities and asset management before joining Vietnam Investors Service. Minh was the Director of Hanoi Branch - Dragon Capital Vietnam and Deputy CEO of VietFund Management in the period 2013-2022. In the earlier period, Minh held the positions of Acting General Director at VinGroup Securities Company and Director of Asset Management Services at Vietcombank Fund Management Company (VCBF).
Minh has 27 years of experience in the financial sector. Starting his audit career at Ernst & Young in 1995 and left in 1999, Minh then became a business consultant in the PWC Vietnam. After completing his master degree in finance management, Minh has been working in the securities and investment sectors since 2003 with various management positions at Vietcombank Fund Management, VinGroup Securities, VietFund Management and Dragon Capital. Minh has experience in equity and fixed income, served in investment committees of investment funds. During the period from 2013 to 2022, Minh managed a bond fund and was in charge of a private pension fund development project, which provides technical assistance to Ministry of Finance to build legal framework for private pension and leads to the birth of Dragon Capital's An Vui Retirement Program, the first scheme in Vietnam.
Minh graduated from Hanoi National Economics University, majoring in accounting, in 1995 and received a Master's degree in Financial Management from the University of Melbourne in 2003 under a scholarship granted by the Australian government (AusAID). He also holds a Vietnamese Certified Public Accountant license and an Investment Fund Management license issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam.
