Official Launch of VIS Rating

On November 24, 2023, VIS Rating and Moody's Corporation hosted the official launch event of VIS Rating (VIS Rating) at JW Marriott Hanoi, attracting over 150 guests. The event was graced by esteemed officials, including Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Dương - Deputy Director General of the Department of Banking and Financial Institutions, Ministry of Finance; Mr. Marc Knapper - U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; Mr. Đỗ Ngọc Quỳnh - Secretary General of the Vietnam Bond Market Association; Ms. Wendy Cheong - Managing Director & Head of Asia-Pacific, Moody’s Investors Service; and Mr. Phạm Phú Khôi - Chairman of VIS Rating.

VIS Rating was established at the initiative of the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA) and has garnered strong support from leading financial stakeholders, including ACB Securities Company (ACBS), Dragon Capital Vietnam, Moody's Corporation, NAM A BANK AMC, VPS Securities, and VNDIRECT Securities. We are committed to delivering credit rating services that adhere to the highest international standards, focusing on close collaboration with enterprises to enhance their understanding of credit ratings and achieve their business objectives. Additionally, we provide high-quality research and in-depth insights into various sectors and the macroeconomic landscape in Vietnam, aiming to promote transparency and sustainable development in Vietnam's financial market.

VIS Rating officially provides credit rating services from November 2023.
